Chickpeas, tomatoes

I know groceries are running low when I resort to canned chickpeas for lunch. Today's lunch was tortilla chips, blueberry Silk yogurt, chickpeas (with some random spices thrown in), cherry tomatoes from the garden, and a mixture of walnuts, chocolate, and Craisins. I had the apple and raisins for snack earlier in the day.

16 days until China!

I can't wait to hear about China! This looks like a very balanced meal! I have been eating a lot of chickpeas lately! I bought dry chickpeas in bulk. Asked for 2 cups. It made 6 cups once soaked for 24 hours. ;) I made a large batch of hummus (eventho I prefer the canned ones for hummus) and a chickpea dish and chikpea soup that I posted about yesterday. More hummus is on the way but from the canned chickpeas! I am making it for a potluck on Saturday~!

As far as I remember the chickpeas have some olive oil, cayenne pepper, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, cumin, and coriander, and oregano. I just sprinkled on a little of lots of things.

I'm leaving for China on November 1, I can't wait!
